An Organised Play program like you’ve never seen. Wizards of the Coast in conjunction with Let's Play Games brings back professional and competitive play for Magic: The Gathering Trading Card Game in Australia and New Zealand.
The ANZ Magic Super Series is for the Australian and New Zealand Magic: The Gathering communities. It is designed to bring the community together to run competitive tabletop Magic events and be a pathway for players to attain greatness by reaching the Pro Tour and beyond!
Players make their way to compete globally by first qualifying for a seat at the Regional Championship. There are multiple ways to qualify.

Pro Tour
WPN stores across the region host RCQs, offering qualification places to the top-performing players at each event. Stores receive a kit with special promo cards for participants and winners, sponsored prize support, and have the flexibility to set their own entry fee, include additional prize support, and the event date. Players can compete in multiple RCQs, with qualifications passing down if they qualify more than once.
The ANZ Super Series three-day weekend events are large gatherings held at major venues where the Regional Championships take place. All players who qualified can compete in the RC for a share of $15,000 USD in prize money and a chance to qualify for the Pro Tour or even the World Championships. The weekend also features a variety of side events, including competitive and casual formats, plus the Sunday $5k event.
We may host special events in regional cities throughout the year. These events will include Top 8 qualifiers for the Regional Championships, Commander activations, and plenty of side events. Stay tuned for updates on events coming to your city!
Each cycle, a special City Qualifier will be held in each major city across the region. Similar to RCQs, these events happen only once per cycle and offer 8 qualification places for the Regional Championship. They may also include extra promo cards or special prizes.
Players can still qualify for the Regional Championships by competing in Last Chance Qualifiers on the Friday of any ANZ Super Series three-day weekend. These 16-player single-elimination events offer winners a spot in the Regional Championships. You can choose to pay for a single entry or buy a day pass to play as many events as needed until you qualify.
As a player, simply find your nearest Store Qualifier and start casting spells! If your local game store isn’t running Super Series events, contact them and let them know you want to see a Store Qualifier in their store!
