ANZ Super Series - Regional Championships #10

Congratulations on qualifying for the Cycle TEN Regional Championships of the ANZ Magic Super Series! This section id for qualified players to inform you of what you need to do to compete in the ANZ Super Series Regional Championships for Cycle TEN. If you aren't a qualified player, you can still qualify for the RC by competing in Friday's Last Chance Qualifiers. If you don't want to Qualify you can still come along and play in our side events listed above.

Deck Registration Deadline: 7pm Friday 24th October

Player Meeting: 9.30am Saturday 25th October

Top 8 Playoffs: 10:45am Sunday 26th October

You may only purchase one ticket for yourself, and you must include your Wizards account email address.

We will be using MTG Melee to run the Regional Championships. Once you have purchased your event ticket, we will add you to the tournament and you will be able to submit your deck list. We will be manually doing this each day or so leading up to the event, so check back 24 hours after purchasing your ticket to ensure you have been entered. Please use your Wizards Account email for this.

ANZ Super Series Cycle 10 Regional Championships - Melbourne | Melee

If you do not already have a MTG Melee account, you will need to create one.

The ANZ Super Series Regional Championships will be run under Open Deck List rules. All competitors must submit their deck list online by 7pm AEDT on Friday 24th October. Deck lists will be public from 9am Saturday morning. At the start of each round, you will receive a copy of your opponent’s deck list to peruse before your match. Deck lists will be published worldwide by Wizards of the Coast. 

Schedule

Friday 24th October will have a range of side events which you are welcome to compete in. As a qualified player you can NOT play in the Last Chance Qualifier events.

You do not have to be at the venue on Friday, but we do need your deck list submitted by 7pm via MTG Melee.

Saturday 25th October – Super Series Final Main Event

Format: MODERN Constructed - Swiss rounds based on attendance with Top 8 cut*

9:30am: Player Meeting.

10:00am: Swiss Rounds Commence

Lunch Break: Approximately after Round 3 

All Swiss rounds will be played on Saturday

Sunday 26th May - Top 8 Final Cut

10:45: Top8 Player Meeting

12:00: Quarter Finals

1:00pm: 1st Semi Finals

2:00pm: 2nd Semi Finals

3:00pm: Super Series Final

For entering the ANZ Super Series Regional Championships Cycle 10 you will receive the following, you can pick this up from the Prize Wall.

Super Sunday Event and Other Side Events

There are a host of other side events over the weekend which will be open to the public. Including the Super Sunday $5k event for those not competing in the Top 8, with a $USD5000 prize pool. Ticketing for side events including this Super Sunday event is now on sale via this link. Please Note - Qualified Players CANNOT compete in the Last Chance Qualifiers.

Travel Allowance

Please submit your application for this as soon as possible should you require it. We only have a limited budget for this and cannot supply this to everyone, our selections are final on this, and we will notify successful applicants shortly after the cut off.

Deferrals

If you are unable to attend, you can apply for a Deferral of your qualification to the next Super Series Final. You can only defer your qualification ONCE and your request may not be granted.
