RK Post

A farmboy from Illinois with a gift for sketching, rk post was planning on a career as a veterinarian until illustration finally took over in his extensive college experience. By his graduation from Northern Illinois University in 1994, rk post was freelancing for the fantasy gaming industry doing interior illustration for several major game companies, gradually teaching himself how to paint with acrylics and eventually oils. rk garnered a staff illustration position at TSR and after its acquisition, continued in this capacity with new parent company Wizards of the Coast painting cover illustrations for games and novels. Passionate about expanding his skill set, rk moved into 2D and 3D art for videogames in addition to his freelance illustrations for Magic the Gathering and other franchises. He currently works as a self publishing entity, so please follow him on your preference of his social media platforms to see what's up and coming!

Kelogsloops

Hieu is an Australian artist from Melbourne who goes by the alias kelogsloops. His watercolour paintings often depict female portraiture inspired from surreal and fantasy art styles. Since beginning on his artistic career, he has worked and operated by his motto, “be right back, chasing dreams.”

Alex Stone

Alex Stone is an artist and illustrator from Brooklyn, New York, currently based in Melbourne, Australia. Alex’s passion for painting is fueled by a love of narrative visual storytelling, and his vibrant work often recalls a sense of awe and nostalgia. He has been drawn to fantastical subject matter since he was young, and painting has always been a way for him to express his love of the genre. Alex graduated with a BFA from the Illustration program at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Since then, he has had the privilege of working on many exciting properties such as Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and Hearthstone among others. His paintings have also found their way into numerous private art collections.

Jeff Laubenstien

MAGIC THE GATHERING Illustrator Jeff Laubenstein is a visual storyteller. He has worked as an illustrator/art director/concept artist for roleplaying games and associated publications. He spent 12 years working at FASA Corporation working on: Shadowrun, Mechwarrior, Battletech, Earthdawn, Renegade Legion, Star Trek, and Doctor Who. He has spent almost forty years in the rpg field where, as a freelancer, he has had pieces published in: Dungeon, Dragon, White Wolf, Scrye, Duelist and Challenge magazines. He has created concept work for FASA, Wiz Kids, and Iron Crown. Jeff's CCG work includes Magic the Gathering which led him paint several iconic cards, including "SHOW AND TELL" and "RECURRING NIGHTMARE, MISCALCULATION, and CLOT SLIVER". He also worked on card games based on Harry Potter, Battletech, Shadowrun, Vampire and SORCERY. As a freelance artist he continues to draw, to paint, and chase his muse. During the last several years he has attended gaming events around the world, including visiting LUCCA COMICS AND GAMES, MAGIC CONS, COMMANDFESTS, and ETERNAL WEEKENDS. What’s next? Returning to Melbourne for CommandFest and joining in on all the fun.

April Prime

April Prime is a concept artist and illustrator originally from Humpty Doo, in the Northern Territory of Australia. She specialises in creatures and monster design, and loves animals of all kinds, both real and imagined. April currently resides in Melbounre Australia, with her two sphynx cats, Godskin Apostle and Gargoyle.
