CommandFest Sydney is THIS Week! We are preparing for a big weekend of Magic fun for you.
We are super excited for this one with some special secrets to let you know about this weekend as well. If you see me at the venue please come and say hi and let me know where you come from and who your LGS is!

About the Venue:
Bankstown Sports Club Ballroom
8 Greenfield Place
RESTWELL ST Entrance
Bankstown Sports Club is a registered club and therefore requires ID to enter the Club itself. We will be in the Clubs Ballroom which has street access directly. Therefore you can just come and go from the Ballroom itself without going into the club.
The Club is a great place however for dining and getting a coffee so we do recommend that you use this for your food needs. Once you have registered with the club and have a ticket you should be able to come and go as you wish.
No Food or Drink is allowed from outside the club into the Ballroom.
BAR
We will have a bar in the foyer area for Soft Drinks and there will be water stations around the room. You will need to pay for your soft drinks but the water is free.
Proxies and Event Sign Ups
CommandFest is an official Wizards of the Coast event and therefore Proxies are not allowed. All events will be run through Eventlink and we recommend that you sign up for a Wizards account and download the Companion App software to your device. Link to creating an account is here.

To sign up to events go to the Registration/Scorekeepers Desk and give them the appropriate amount of Game tokens and let them know your Wizards Email Address so they can enter you into the event.
Deck Lists
We don't require deck lists for any event except the cEDH Competitive Commander event on Saturday. please see the details on that next.
cEDH Competitive Commander Event
If you plan to compete in the cEDH tournament on Saturday morning please note that the tournament is run at Competitive REL (meaning decklists are required) and is using Spicerack.gg
You should complete the following before signing up: Create an account on the spicerack.gg website
https://www.spicerack.gg Install the Spicerack.gg app on your phone Create your decklist using Moxfield for ease of importing, or at least have it typed out accurately so you can add it once you are in the event

Friday Afternoon Early Badge Pick Up and GAMES!
We will be opening the doors to ticket holders at 4pm on Friday for you to come and pick up your pass and if you like play some casual games in the venue. You don't have to pick up your pass on Friday, it's just an extra session if you want to. We won't be running any scheduled games for this session, but you are free to meet friends and play some casual games. We may even have some spot prizes to hand out to those who are there!
Saturday After Party Sponsored by eBay 7-10pm
If you are a VIP ticket holder you are welcome to stay on Saturday night for our After Party sponsored by eBay. We will be having food and a bar (please note that alcohol will be served at this time). We have invited our WPN Retailers to this event so you might see your local store holder there! We will be running some lite events and have some spot prizes on the night. Perhaps you will battle some of our Spellslingers there and if you beat them win some prizes!
Planechase Activity
One of the activities we will have across the weekend will be our PlaneChase activity. Full details on this at the event but basically every hour, players will visit one of the planes and an effect will happen. There will be announcements so listen out. This also isn't mandatory but just a fun thing to do over the weekend.
Reselling your tickets
Please don't do this, your ticket is your ticket. If you can't make the event for any reason please contact me, we will happily refund you and we have an extensive wait list of people that would love to go.

Dozens of tables for casual play! Use Game Tokens to play Commander and earn Prize Tickets. (Tokens not needed if you don’t want prizes.)
Game Tokens $15
With your entry you will receive some game tokens. You can purchase more of these at the venue. These tickets can be used at game tables to play for Prize Tickets. When players sit at a table, each player provides a game token. When the game ends or the achievements have been met, the table can call for a Judge who will award the table with Prize Tickets.
Prize Tickets
Prize Tickets will be awarded to players throughout the weekend by Judges. These Prize Tickets can be redeemed at the Prize Wall for great prizes, like Booster packs, accessories and other cool items.
